| Description: |
Three spherical beads made of mosaic glass. All have elaborate and nice polychrome decorations. It is difficult to pinpoint the location of manufacturing. But there is the conjecture that such mosaic glass beads were made in workshops in Roman Egypt, or at least in the Eastern Mediterranean. |
| Dimensions: |
13mm, 14mm and 16mm diameter, holes of approx. 2.5mm to 5mm.

| Condition: |
One bead in near perfect condition, the other two with small chips, one glued with the purpose of restoration or stabilization. Nice overall impression for ancient beads of the mosaic glass type.

Acquired by us in 2017 on the German art market. Previously in a Southern German collection. Acquired into the collection in the 1970ies or earlier on the German art market.
