| Description: |
Flat axe head with trapezoid body. The neck is straight, the edge has a radius and its sides are wider than the axe body. This axe belongs to the earliest bronze axe types. Their shape was still largely resembling the previous stone axes despite the new design possibilities of bronze casting. |

| Condition: |
Outstanding condition. Body perfectly preserved including nice patina and minor damages unavoidable considering the age of the piece. The original damages to the edge are a witness to the former use of the axe. Modern inscription "90" in black on one side.

Acquired by us in 2020 from R. Deutsch, Tel Aviv, Israel. Exported with permit no. 542792 of the Israel Antiquities Authority (IAA). Previously in the Israeli private collection of Lisa Knothe, Jerusalem. Acquired into the collection in the 2000s. Judea is passed down as the find region for this piece, in the South of modern Israel.
