Description:    Low-profile bowl with flared mouth and narrow flared ring foot. The ornate handle with two finger holes in the shape of a stylized slug, surmounted by two flat-ended projections with horizontal thumb leg, the front with horizontal ribbing.

Size: Height 95 mm, diameter 139 incl. handles

Condition: Body in good condition, handle re-attached, possibly from another vessel, combining two vessel types.

Provenance: Acquired in 2018 from a US auction house. Ex South German private collection of an artist and art collector, purchased between 1960 and 1980.
