Roman legionary tile from the Rhineland
LEG XVI (Gallica), 43 - 70 AD. Found 1966 till 1981 near the Roman city of Novaesium, today's Neuss in Germany. Novaesium was an early Roman foundation and with this is one of the oldest cities in Germany.
Anglo-Saxon bow brooch
A find from the Isle of Wight from the Migration Period. Beautiful testimonial of the settlement of Britain by the Anglo-Saxons.

Low vessel of cylindrical shape. The stylus was dipped into the ancient inkwell and wiped off at the edge. Beautiful, rich green glass.

Cypriot limestone statuette
Young man with a bag in his hand, in the style of a kouros. The typical votary statuette from Cyprus was exported to Israel in the Cypro-Archaic period. With certificate from 1984.
Biconical early Etruscan urn with original lid
Impressive ensemble, nicely preserved. Ex Mara Scotoni-Coppetti collection, inspected and restored at the Archaeological Institute of the University of Zurich in 1981.

Rome mint, 161 - 175 A.D. The reverse shows Juno standing left, holding patera and sceptre, peacock at foot left.

Mold made clay figure dating to the first Millennium BC. The Semitic goddess represents love, sexuality, war, healing, and more.

Short bladed weapon from Iron Age Iran. It is probably a find from the province of Gilan in northern Iran.

The imposing vessel is shaped like a zebu, a domestic cattle from the Ancient Near East. This category of object is famous since the Amlash excavations in the Iranian Gilan Province. With its stylization it is a rare artistic masterpiece of the mysterious Iron Age cultures of Iran.
