| Description: |
Round lamp with winged nozzle, two volutes flanking its sides. A low rim surrounds the large filling hole, with a step towards the opening. Conical knob handle. A floral decoration with leaf design adorns the shoulder, encircled by a low double rim. The outer ring forms a channel on the spout. So-called "Daroma" lamp, named after the region originally known for its production, referred to in the Mishnah as "daroma" (Aramaic for "South"). This lamp belongs to the type that was common in the hills of Samaria and along the northern coast of Israel. |

| Condition: |
Well preserved, only minor chips on the body. A possibly not stable crack running through the body. Ancient soot traces at the wick opening.
