Description: |
Lekanis without handles and with knobbed lid. Bowl with inset rim and conical foot. Domed lid with overturned rim and ogival knobbed handle. The lid is reserved inside, hub of knob is recessed and decorated with a rosette. The main subject features two female heads in profile to the left between palmette fans and reserved bands. The outer edge of the lid is decorated with a band of thick short lines. The bowl is fully covered by black slip. |
