Description: |
Elegant vessel with broad foot and shoulder disc, convex shoulder and high neck with circular profile. Long, beak-shaped spout, decorated at the neck with a head of Medusa to each side. The body is painted with white saw tooth and rectangular patterns, framed and separated by white double lines. The shoulder disc is decorated with an Ionian kymation. On the shoulder wreath with alternating white and red leafs separated by dotted lines, at the center rosette. Dotted ring between wreath and neck, white beams at neck base. |

Condition: |
Very well preserved, delicate piece of ancient art. Only minimal wear. An about 55mm long piece of the shoulder ring was broken and is professionally restored. Surface professionally cleaned, shoulder painting partially restored.
