Inside a large tondo, showing a battle scene that is framed by a circular meander pattern. A warrior dressed with a corinthian helmet, armour and a cloak stands to the left, turns around and spears down another armoured warrior wearing a corinthian helmet. The dying warrior holds a round shield (aspis) in his left hand, the right hand that presumably held a sword hangs powerless in front of the body.
