Description: |
Bracelet as an open ring with a D-shaped profile. The outside has an incised decoration. The jewellery was made in Bronze Age Europe.

80mm outer diameter, 64mm inner diameter. 17mm width.

Condition: |
Well preserved. The solid bronze body is largely intact and covered with a dark patina. Traces of cleaning or abrasion on the edges. Two chips on the outside, as well as some small, inconspicuous chips. On the inside there is a modern sticker with the inscription "3729".

Acquired by us on the British art market in 2022. Previously owned by another British art dealer. Purchased from the German auction house Gorny and Mosch in 2009. Previously in a private collection, acquired in the 1950s.
