| Material: | Colourless glass, natural colours of brown and green slightly visible. | 
| Period: | 1st to 3rd century AD. Roman Imperial period. | 
| Description: | Small bowl made of thin-walled glass. The body has the shape of a hemisphere that is slightly flattened at the bottom, and there is a wide constriction under the lip. The glass thus imitates the shape of metal vessels of this period. | 
| Dimensions: | 8.5cm to 8.8cm diameter. 4.5cm height. | 
| Condition: | Perfect condition. Completely intact, with attractive find patina. | 
| Provenance: | Acquired by us in 2023 from the German Heckmann family collection. The founder Peter Heckmann acquired the glass collection in the 1970s on the German art market. |
