Late antiquity.

Description:    Pear-shaped lamp, with fish bone decoration. A keyhole-formed ridge surrounds the filling hole and forms a channel towards the nozzle.

Size: Length 104 mm, width 60 mm, height 44 mm

Condition: Body professionally restored from fragments. Front part incl. nozzle and handle re-modeled with plaster.

Provenance: Acquired 2022 at a German auction house. Ex F. Pladeck collection, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany, acquired before 1970.
