Coined by Herodes Archelaos, son of Herod the Great, 4 BC - 6AD. Very fine condition. Perfectly centered, with beautiful dark green and red sand patina.

Prätorianische Galeere n. r., am Bug Thyrsos. LEG II. Leicht dezentriert, ansonsten sehr schöne Erhaltung, schöne dunkle Patina.

Legio III Gallica. Diese wurde 49 durch Caesar aufgestellt und später durch Antonius bei seinen Partherfeldzügen eingesetzt. Gutes sehr schön.

Seltene Prägung. Nur 3 Legionen werden auf den Denaren des Antonius namentlich erwähnt. Einziger sicherer historischer Beleg für diese ansonsten nicht gesicherte Legion.

Stempelglanz. Durch einen Fehler bei der Herstellung prägte sich nicht die volle Stempelfläche in den Schrötling. Aversdarstellung fast vollständig, selbst in den feinsten Details erhalten.
