Corinthian

Description:    Globular body slightly flattened to create a base. Thin neck, broad discus-shaped lip decorated with rays and a band of dots on the rim (preserved only as traces). The handle with a zigzag line. On the body centrally a large bird with spread wings decorated in black and yellow. Over the bird and on the back side below the handle blossoms, another stylized blossom made from a central dot and rays on the bottom.

Size: Height 65 mm, diameter 63 mm

Condition: Very well preserved object with widely preserved decoration. At the bottom, old sticker "57A CPDO £48" from Davies Antiques.
