Description:    Shallow bowl with high rim pinched to form single wick-rest. Convex underside with no defined base.

Size: Length 136 mm, width 130 mm, height 40 mm

Condition: Very well preserved, three fragments broken and restored at right side of the nozzle, otherwise undamaged. With sticker "1663".

Provenance: Acquired by us in 2017 from Baidun Fine Antiquities, Via Dolorosa, Jerusalem. Exported from Israel with permit Nr. 536560 of IAA. From the private collection of Baidun family, in which the lamp was since the 1950s or earlier. Said to have been found in Hebron.
