Material: So-called Gnathia ware
Red clay with black slip and paint in white, yellow, and red.

Date: Late 4th - early 3rd century B.C.
South Italian, Gnathia ware.

Description:    Pear-shaped high vase with elegant neck and wide mouth. Two elegantly rounded handles. Fully covered by black slip excl. the outside of the two-stage foot. Between the handles an elegantly painted female head to the right between floral elements, above bands of egg-and-dot, lines and dots.

Size: Diameter 160 mm, height 283 mm.

Condition: Perfectly preserved incl. the original paint, worth the exhibition at a museum. On the bottom sticker inscribed "140".
