Description: |
Guttos from the Greek colonies of Southern Italia, Magna Graecia. Typical shape known for these ancient oil vessels. Convex body on ring-shaped foot, steep shoulder decorated with grooves. Vertical, funnel-shaped spout. On top a central medallion showing the head of Medusa.
