Description: |
Two gold earrings with a lion's head. Each earring is curved in an almost circular shape, one end made of wire, widening into a hollow body. The other end is a fully plastic head made of thin gold sheet, a typical Hellenistic design. It is the head of a lion. Behind it there are rich ornaments of granules and applied spirals. The lion head earrings differ slightly, the head is almost identical, but the transition to the foot end is a continuation of the hollow body made of sheet gold on one earring, on the other earring it is made of spirally wound gold wire. |

Condition: |
Good condition. Some damage to the lion heads and slight deformations.
