Hellenistic

Description:    Lamp with biconvex body and ribbon handle with one groove. Flat, slightly depressed discus with central filling hole and another small air hole at the lower side of discus. A circular ridge is separating the discus from the shoulder which is decorated with a festoon on each side. Medium length nozzle, flat circular plate around the wick hole. Human head in high relief on nozzle top, possibly a theater mask. Raised base ring.
