Description:    Large jug with flat bottom. A small flat handle is attached centrally to the top. Short spout with broad mouth.

Size: Height 360 mm, diameter 250 mm

Condition: Part of spout and mouth broken and missing. The rest of the body intact and in very good condition. The subtle sea incrustations make this jug an impressive vessel with distinct maritime aesthetics.

Provenance: Acquired 2022 in a German auction house, ex German art market. Ex German private collection H. Acquired 1969 from Adolf Buch, Nordrhein-Westfalen, Germany. Acquired by Adolf Buch 1967 in Sucuraj, Croatia. Exported with an official permit of the local authorities (available in copy).
