Late Bronze Age - early Iron Age

Description:    Long and narrow blade, with rounded midrib and curved projection to either side of the short tang.

Size: Length 360 mm, width 53 mm, height 8 mm

Condition: Nicely preserved, solid piece with attractive patina. Some edge losses from an active use in antiquity.

Provenienz: Acquired 2019 in a US American auction house. Ex private collection A.P. (Hudson, Massachusetts), inherited in this from the parents. Acquired from the Archaeological Shop at the Tel Aviv Hilton Hotel, Israel, in 1968 or 1969, as part of a larger collection.
