Description:    Exceptionally preserved figurine of Hercules. The hero is standing with his right foot slightly to the front, the body slightly rotated to the right and the head tilted to the right. He is nude, the left shoulder draped with the lion skin mantle, his club supported on the left arm. The right arm is extended in front of the body. He has short hair, a thick beard, and is wearing an elaborate twisted silver torc.

Size: Height 114 mm without and 160 mm with base. Width 66 mm. Weight about 500 grams.

Condition: Excellent condition. The bronze is very nicely preserved, beautiful patina. Right hand and toe missing, otherwise complete including the original silver torc. The figure is of very high workmanship, details like facial features and hair are finely worked and still perfectly preserved. Mounted on a modern bronze base.
