Object: Beit Natif type oil lamp

Material: Red clay with red slip and sand patina

Date: 4th century A.D.

Description:    Lamp with a round body. Lines and dotted lines on nozzle. Line of dots and four rims around filling hole. Pyramidal shaped handle. Ring base.

Size: Length 87 mm, width 57 mm, height 28 mm

Condition: Perfectly preserved, undamaged. Traces of lamp black on the nozzle document the intense use of the lamp in antiquity. With traces of original red slip.
