Drop-shaped body. A notched rod ornament on the shoulder, a stylized palm branch between the filling hole and the burning hole. Stand ring with a raised point in the middle.

The so-called "frog lamps" developed in Upper Egypt in Abydos area. For the Egyptians, the frog was a symbol for birth and resurrection. The Christian have taken over this symbolism.

| Condition: |
Perfectly preserved, undamaged, minimal wear. Traces of lamp black on the nozzle document the intense use of the lamp in antiquity.
