| Description: |
Lamp with a round body and typically shaped short nozzle. Low and thin rim around the filling hole, forming a ledge around the opening. Flat bottom. Loop handle. Small circles on side of wick hole, two dotted lines on nozzle, circles between the lines. So-called Jerusalem oil lamp, Herodian shape. This high-quality type of lamps, burned without oxygen and thus having the characteristic black color, was manufactured in the area of Jerusalem. |

Very well preserved, only minor chips on body and on the left front part of the nozzle.
