Description:    Voluminous Oinochoe with ring-shaped base, trefoil spout and strap handle.
On the opposite side of the handle image area framed with a wave crest at top and broad lines with dot bands at sides.
Inside the frame, Aphrodite is standing to the rights, facing Eros. Aphrodite is dressed with a long chiton, she holds a large box in her left hand. The right arm of Eros rests on the box, he holds a wreath in his left arm.
Very high quality and level of detail for an Apulian workshop.

Size: Height 162 mm, diameter 123 mm without and 130 mm with handles

Condition: Restored from few large fragments. Very nicely preserved original decoration. Overall in great condition. With computer-printed note "OenochoƩ Herakles und Athene darstellend", and "420 a.Chr." in hand writing.
