| Description: | Hemispheric bowl. On the bottom medaillon displaying Nike riding a biga to the right. From the medaillon an alternating decoration composed of pointed palmettes and leafs or blossoms with a central dotted line. Over the floral decoration egg and dart. Very delicate and sophisticated pottery. It is worth pointing out that no parallel piece with a Nike medaillon could be found in the Corpus Vasorum Antiquorum database. Rare and interesting piece. |
