Description:    Massive convex applique shaped as a bust of Minerva. The goddess is wearing armor and a plumed helmet, details of clothing and facial expression are thoroughly worked out.
Two holes in the lower part were used to fix the applique as decoration of another device or furniture, another hole in the helmet plume.

Size: Height 72 mm, width 42 mm

Condition: Excellently preserved massive piece with beautiful green patina. Small part missing on lower right rim.

Provenance: Acquired by us in 2020 from a traditional german auction house. Ex German private collection G. Schlueter, acquired in the 1960s - 1970s.
