| Description: |
The nude goddess stands on her right leg. Her left leg, with its deeply bent knee, is slightly turned forward. The goddess's head is crowned with a diadem adorned with leaves. Long curls cascade down her shoulders on either side. Her oval face is idealized, her head tilted slightly to the right. In her raised left hand, she holds a mirror, from which she turns away. Her right arm extends downward, away from her body, her hand turned upward so that the palm faces the viewer. The figure is rendered in meticulous detail. The flowing rhythm of the body is emphasized by the supple contours and the sweeping hips. |
| Size: |
Height 85mm without and 116mm with base.
|
| Condition: |
A very beautiful figure. Both feet and ankles are missing. The rest of the body, including the fragile mirror in the hand, is in excellent condition. It has a fine dark green to brown patina.
