Size: | Frame: 152 cm x 89,5 cm. Mosaic: 147 cm x 85 cm. The single tesserae measure about 5 mm to 12 mm, most of them have a drawn-out rectangular form. |

Condition: | Very large paneu in a condition worth a museum exhibition The mosaic was transfered and fixed onto a stable (probably fibre-based) plate and framed with a black metal frame. The frame is partially loose on the right top side. |
Description: | Polychrome mosaic of a peacock. The feather crown is shown as three feathers with a circular ending. The body is worked in green-bluish tesserae, the orange-yellow coloured wings contrast nicely with the rest of the body. While the peacock is shown from the side, the trail is shown almost en-face. It consist of orange coloured tesserae with three "eyes" in the central part. The upper left field is decorated with five stylized flowers. |
