| Material: | Pale green glass with colourful iridescent patina. | 
| Period: | 1st century AD to 2nd century AD. Roman Imperial. | 
| Description: | Blown glass vessel with tear shaped body and long almost cylindrical neck. Thick lip and slightly flattened base. Remarkably strong iridescence that developed over the centuries the flask was burried in the ground. | 
| Dimensions: | 99mm height. | 
| Condition: | Perfect condition with beautiful patina. Original dirt encrustations inside. | 
| Provenance: | Acquired by us in 2017 from the private posession of M. Voos, Germany. Inherited by M. Voos from the Germany private collection H. Herbst. Acquired between 1976 and 1978 on the London art market, probably at Davies Antiques, for the Herbst collection and brought to Germany. |
