Description:    Flat bowl with short foot. Gentle transition between the discus-shaped base, the stem of the foot and the body. Conical bowl, slightly pulled inside over the handles and opening again to the rim. Two handles attached at the sides.
Outside fully covered with black slip except a thin band over the foot and the outside of the discus-shaped base. Inside large undecorated tondo, therein smaller tondo in dark red. Central dot inside circle.

Size: Height 120mm, diameter 405 mm with and 305 mm without handles.

Condition: Professionally restored from several fragments, small missing parts and chips all over the body, which do not impair the very imposing overall impression. Largely preserved black slip. Old sticker "A 169" under the foot.

Provenance: Acquired by us in 2021 from the German private collection Dr. Dietrich who acquired the object in 1978 from Kapsoulakis, Pandrossou, Monasteriaki , Athen.
