Probably about 1st Millennium B.C. from the area in Caucasus which was later inhabited by the Maeotians. However, it should not be forgotten that very similar iron weapons were used by various cultures over many centuries, and similar shapes are known from later times as well . Therefore, any attribution without a known finding context finally remains speculative. |

Condition: |
Very good condition for an iron object. Some chips at end of socket and blade, however mainly intact with very nicely preserved surface.
