This issue was coined in course of a propaganda campaign during the first mithridatic war.
Avers: Head of the deified Alexander the Great with horn of Ammon and diadem right
Revers: BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAXOY Athena Nikephoros seated left, resting left ellbow on shield, holding Nike in the right hand, in front of it ΘOM, below TO, trident with two fish in exergue.
Condition: Extremely fine, Avers from a slightly worn die.

Historical note: It is interesting that the image on the Avers shows the features of Mithridates. The type with a broad diadem that closes with an X and three globes can also be found on Tetradrachms that were coined in Mithridates' own name.
