Celtic Antiquities

Celtic antiquities

The section on the Celts in our online shop features antiquities like Celtic bronzes, pottery and coins. While a particular focus is on celtic jewellery like fibulas, finger rings and pins, an extensive range of other artefacts like celtic bronze figurines is covered by our gallery. The term Celts does not refer to one single culture but rather to a variety of different groups. In our gallery, the category “Celtic antiquities” covers bronzes, pottery and other artefacts from mostly Central Europe starting with the onset of Iron Age in Hallstatt around 800 B.C., over the subsequent La Tène period from 450 B.C. until Celtic-Roman times. We would be pleased to work with you on your personal collection and assist choosing special pieces you would like to add. Please do not hesitate to contact us any time via email or using our contact form. Correspondence is welcome in English, German, Italian, French, Russian or Japanese.
