How to order

If you are interested in acquiring an ancient artefact from our only gallery, you can use our online shop or contact us without obligation by email, fax or telephone. We usually respond within one business day to your enquiry.

Payment, prices and invoices

You will find a pricing label for all ancient objects in our online store. All prices include VAT and do not include shipping costs. Payments are to be made in Euros. Please consult us first if you would like to pay in other currencies (e.g. USD, GBP). We will issue an invoice with separately stated sales tax at the latest with receipt of delivery.
All deliveries are made after receiving the payment in full. In individual cases, a payment after receiving the items can be agreed upon, for example, for an order by a state museum or institution.

Payment methods

We recommend payment by bank transfer (IBAN / BIC) for national and international transactions. The bank data will be supplied with confirmation of your order. We also accept payments via PayPal and debit card, and in many cases payment after receiving your order and invoice. For in advance payments by bank transfer a 5% discount will be granted on the item prices.

Shipping or pick-up

As a modern online gallery we deliver the items directly to your doorstep. Most objects can be shipped by regular mail. Otherwise, shipping can be handled by an art transport company. The cost of processing, packaging and shipping are calculated automatically by our online shop. The shipping flat rates can be seen in the table of delivery costs.
You can also make an appointment with us in our downtown Munich office and pick-up an object personally. This is possibly for all objects valued above 5000 Euro.

Import and export regulations

Shipping is always from Germany. According to the German law for the protection of cultural heritage all archaeological items require an export permit for shipping abroad, even within the European Union. Please understand that we can only undergo this time consuming procedure for items priced above 250 Euro and charge a fee of 50 Euro per item and export. We will take care of the whole process for you. It typically takes around 2 months until such a process is completed.
Please make sure that also the rules for import into the destination country are respected and familiarize with any applicable customs and import taxes.


The authenticity of all delivered objects is guaranteed in accordance with the specifications in the item description. In particular, this refers to the given period and culture. The guarantee is valid without time limitation. It enables the return of the object in question and the refund of the full purchase price.
