Most recently owned by Herbert Cahn (1915–2002), one of the most important dealers in ancient coins and works of art of his time, as well as a passionate researcher in the fields of ancient numismatics and classical archaeology.

About late 7th - 6th century B.C. From the Austrian collection of Prof. Ritschel, carrier of the Large Cross of Honor of the Austrian Republic and many other prizes and honors. Very nicely preserved, interesting unusual piece.

Beautiful, life-size portrait. The provenance can be reconstructed until 1920, when the portrait was acquired from Jannis Demetrios Mikas by Ernest Brummer, both famous collectors.
