All artefacts sold in our gallery are fully documented in our online archive and database. Being a specialist ancient art dealer, preserving also the more recent history of each and every piece sold in our shop is at our heart. That is particularly useful for artefacts that changed owners in the meantime. Information that may have been lost in the process can be easily restored from our archives. Small wash-bowl amphora from an old German collection - found in the mediterraneanKleine ovoide Amphore. Gedrungener Körper mit runder Schulter und rundem Bodenstück. Tauchfund aus dem Mittelmeer, mit maritimen Verkrustungen.

Globular glass bottle from Late AntiquityDem kleinen Fläschchen wurde durch runde Eindellungen ein polygonaler Charakter gegeben. Auffällig ist die kräftige Fundpatina unter der türkis-grüne Glasreflexe hervorschimmern.

Perfectly preserved ampulla of Saint MenasFrühchristliche Pilgerflasche mit Darstellung des Heiligen Menas. Aus der sehr alter US-Amerikanischer Sammlung des Pharmakologen Prof. Dilling, erworben in den frühen 1900er Jahren. Als Kauf- oder Fundort ist Alexandria überliefert.
