Found 1966 - 1981 near the Roman city of Novaesium, today's Neuss in Germany, an early Roman foundation and with this one of the oldest cities in Germany.

Impressive massive bowl, worth the exhibition at a museum. Perfectly preserved. The massive bronze is in an excellent condition and has a very attractive black-green patina.

The glass paste features a famous depiction of Victoria writing the names of victors in battle on a large shield. The motif reiterates a 1st century bronze statue.
