Ancient glass
Ancient glass and especially Roman glass was widely exported throughout the Mediterranean. Besides the functionality, being used as vials, flasks, balsamaria or parfume vessels, the beauty of these early pieces of art certainly had a dominating influence on their development. Skillfully worked mosaic glass from Greek and Roman times is a must-have in every contemporary ancient glass collection. Our online shop specializes in Roman glass, earlier core-formed glass vessels as well as ancient glass beads and jewellery. If you are not yet an ancient glass collector, we would like to draw your attention to the simple but elegant Roman glass vases e.g., a Roman unguentarium or a Roman alabastron, which were used extensively two millennia ago in the Imperium Romanum. We would be pleased to work with you on your personal collection and assist choosing special pieces you would like to add. Please do not hesitate to contact us any time via email or using our contact form. Correspondence is welcome in English, German, Italian, French, Russian or Japanese.-
