Ancient pottery – from the Bronze age over Roman terra sigillata up to the Late Antiquity
From the very beginnings, ancient pottery has been a focal point of the Alte Roemer Gallery. In our online shop you can buy authentic Greek, Roman and Egyptian pottery, but also a variety of ceramics from northern European cultures. Be it Bronze and Iron Age pottery as e.g. the impressive bowls and jars produced by the Lusatian culture, Greek vases, a Hellenistic unguentarium, terra sigillata from the Imperium Romanum or a large transport amphora, in our gallery you will always find something new and interesting for your collection. A category of its own is reserved for ancient oil lamps, where you will find a large selection of lamps from both the core of the Roman Empire as well as from the provinces with a focus on the Holy Land. It would be our pleasure to work with you individually on your personal collection, and help you find special pieces that you would like to add to it. Please do not hesitate to contact us at any time via email or using our contact form. Correspondence is welcome in English, German, Italian, French, Russian or Japanese.-
